Out There Management was formed in 1997 with the goal to create a specialist and unique management company with a small client base of the world’s most talented male and female professional surfers.

This unique professional sports management company has grown significantly over the past few years and is continually raising the benchmark for innovative and professional sport management services.

The company was the vision of Wayne Munro, Managing Director, who has been a self-employed property developer for the past 25 years. A dedicated surfer for the past 35 years, Wayne has been involved in the surfing industry professionally and personally for over 20 years. He has developed an extensive list of contacts and has a solid and well-respected reputation through out the industry.

Wayne’s professional skills in negotiating, property investment/development and timely informative advice bring invaluable benefits to the company. Wayne is renowned as a strong but fair negotiator in all-contractual matters and encourages close communication and long-term relationships between the sponsor and athlete.

In September 2000, Wayne and Out There Management formed a partnership with Luke Crane. Luke’s role is Marketing and Liaison manager. Luke has a degree in Marketing and Business Management and has been a keen surfer for 20 years.

Luke’s educational background and skills are a huge asset to the company. Luke interest in multi media communication keeps Out There Management abreast of technological advancements and changes. OTM applies these technologies to its client and business practices to provide innovative and industry leading services.
